Calling all design creatives!
Glasgow based design company PrintAR are running a competition for students in higher education across Scotland to develop 3D experiences for their up and coming augmented reality platform. PrintAR want 3D artists to create something fun and engaging by using software such as Blender and Maya.
For those unsure about AR, Image based augmented reality is about overlaying digital content on visual media. A poster, a shop front display, product packaging, magazine centre folds, walls – if you can see it, you can add augmented reality experiences to it.
The competition is open to all students with any degree discipline, so why not put your creative cap on, and give it a shot? The winner will receive a shiny new iPad mini… So what are you waiting for?
