It may have been the wettest red carpet of the season so far, but that didn’t seem to deter the stars from flocking to London’s Opera House last night for the 66th annual BAFTA awards.
Sticking to her usual block colour, Jessica looks glamorous as ever in this electric blue Roland Mouret dress. The star of Zero Dark Thirty almost didn’t make it to the awards because of heavy snowfall, but for the sake of this gorgeous look, we’re very glad she did!
Jennifer Lawrence gets it oh-so-right again in this amazing Christian Dior gown. She chose to wear a jacket over the dress for the majority of the red carpet, due to the rain, but we can quite safely say that she was our best dressed award winner on the night.
The best way to get noticed on the red carpet… wear yellow! Yes it’s a risky colour, but Marion did this Vivienne Westwood creation justice, even though she did run up the carpet to avoid the British weather – we would have too!
She’s the actress everyone wants to dress this year, and it was iconic Brit brand Burberry who got their turn at the BAFTAs. The Les Miserable star took another Supporting Actress award home, as well as achieving another red carpet win, in this black floor length dress with gold studding. We still can’t get enough of that haircut either.
Now for a shock…
And the biggest shock of the night goes to…
The legend that is Dame Helen Mirren is the only actress who could show up to a red carpet event with pink hair and have no one judge her for it. The actress thought it would be fun after she had seen a girl from America’s Next Top Model do it – our kinda Dame! Even with pink hair, Mirren looked super elegant in this long-sleeved gown.
