Today was a no makeup kind of day. On lazy days where I stay at home, I always have a makeup free face. Every once in a while your skin needs a break from all the makeup. Today was one of those days, so I decided to share with you all my Holy Grail skincare products. I have been using these products for quite a few months and they have been working wonders on my skin.
Living in Scotland means I have to constantly protect my skin from the year round cold and wind. I have normal skin but these products would work for all skin types.
Hydraluron Moisture Booster serum: it contains a pure form of hyaluronic acid (don’t worry, I know the word “acid” sounds terrifying but this is absolutely fantastic). This ingredient holds up to 1000 times its weight in water resulting in better hydrated, nourished, plumped skin. I use this daily before applying my makeup.
Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair: This little product works wonders in giving you radiant, beautiful skin. It is especially good to prevent signs of ageing as it helps with the skin’s natural nightly renewal. I am only 20 yrs old, but my motto is, “Better prevent it than combat it”. I have noticed a significant difference on my acne scars. The skin renewal technology aids with the disappearance of those annoying blemishes. I use it every night after cleansing.
Bioderma H2O Micelle Solution: Anyone that is into beauty has probably heard of Bioderma. This award winning micelle water gently removes all impurities from the skin- including heavy-duty waterproof mascaras. I use it to remove my eye makeup, as it is super effective and does not irritate my eyes.
REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask: This is a clay mask designed to reduce the appearance of pore size and leave the skin purified, smooth and toned. I have quite large pores around my cheeks and redness and irritation around my nose. I have found that this mask has dramatically helped me in those areas as well as preventing any unwelcomed blemishes. If you struggle with large pores, acne, redness/irritation, this is a facemask definitely worth trying. I use it around once a week.
