A few weeks ago I blogged about how much I love Electric Haircare’s Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner and, in the article, I shared my excitement over the fact that Electric Hair are set to open their first Scottish salon in Harvey Nichols, Edinburgh later this Spring.
Whilst I’m going to have to wait until the end of this month to see the shiny new salon in all its glory, I was lucky enough to get a glimpse of things to come at the pop-up salon the team have opened in-store.
Located in the Beyond Beauty department on the ground floor of Harvey Nichols, the pop-up salon is currently only open on Fridays and offers dry styling, trims and blowdrys. It’s a great opportunity to go along, meet the team and try out some of the fab products they sell.
When I arrived for my afternoon appointment, the thing that struck me most was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. I got to meet both Bobbi and Scott (who have moved to Edinburgh from Brighton to open the salon) and they both seemed to be genuinely excited and enthusiastic about the launch.
Bobbi styled my hair for me and did an amazing job of creating soft, bouncy waves using GHDs – just what I asked for! She set the look using the Electric Hair Serum (£17) to smooth down any fly-aways, which left my hair looking really nice and glossy. Unfortunately the weather that day was awful so the photo doesn’t do her work justice, but I think the style held up really well considering it was both wet and windy.
I’d already decided I was going to book myself in for a much-needed cut and blowdry as soon the salon opened but meeting the stylists absolutely convinced me that Electric Hair is going to be my new go-to salon.
