As always the fashion industry is bursting at the seams with new talent. Eyes On, our brand new style feature aims to showcase new and emerging talent in Scotland and beyond. First up, Glasgow born Abandon Ship Apparel.
Abandon Ship Apparel is the freshest new street wear brand to arrive on the scene. Established by Duncan Sweeny and Richard Davies in Glasgow, the company first set sail in 2011, and have since developed into Europe’s most recognised lifestyle brand, quickly lending themselves to huge high street stores such as ASOS and Topshop.
The brand has a strong sense of youthfulness with playful graphic tees, tanks and sweaters and use of high-quality fabric with a series of recurring themes such as skulls, anchors, swallows and cats. Abandon Ship Apparel is the epitome of the beard and tats culture currently sweeping the nation and the company lends itself well to this particular consumer. However, their less flamboyant basics range, have become increasingly more popular having also launched a feminine line including dresses, leggings and crop tops.
It’s all hands on deck for the brand from here, now it’s your turn to get involved! You now have up until the end of January to visit Abandon Ship Apparel’s pop up shop at Ground Floor, Princes Square, Glasgow. Prepare to lust over their exclusive designs, special promos and collaborations. We’re just as stoked as you are!
