Perhaps Channel 4’s finest Friday night offering since the demise of Friends, New Girl has equal parts ladish humour and girlie drama, thanks to its stellar cast of mismatched roommates. Watch for the gorgeously quirky Zooey Deschanel if nothing else.
From Lily Allen’s Ethel Mary Cooper, to Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Blue Ivy Carter, 2012 is all about the celebrity baby. With two Victoria’s Secret Angels, a Saturday and Sienna Miller all expecting this year, will someone finally steal Suri Cruise’s style crown? My bets are on Harper Beckham.
Say what you want about The X Factor, these girls are fun, feisty and exactly what the UK charts are missing right now. After hitting number one with debut single Cannonball, Jesy, Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne have began working on their album, with an early summer release date expected. Rumour has it both X Factor mentor Tulisa and Brit star Jessie J will feature on the record.
Girls, girls, girls. Why spend money getting your real eyebrows threaded off, only to draw them back on ten times thicker and more slug-like? Those Desperate Scousewives have a lot to answer for. If you really must channel a reality TV star, make it Ollie Locke from Made in Chelsea: shiny hair, even tan, reasonable brows.
My least favourite Facebook revamp to date. So messy, so unorganised, so unnecessary! Sorry Mr Zuckerberg, but I’ll be sticking to Twitter from now on.
Everyone loves a bargain but is that pink marabou coat really a bargain if you’re never going to wear it? My thoughts on sale items: if you wouldn’t have paid full price for it then you really don’t like it that much. Simple. Oh and for the sake of long-suffering sales assistants, pick up after yourself please!
