It’s that time of year when we suddenly realise what weirdos we live with and around. Perhaps one of your flatmates likes to eat burritos alone in the corridor in the moonlight, or your washing machine requires a half ju-jitsu punch half contemporary dance to work properly. Whatever it is, we’re all in the same boat.
None of that compares to the horrors that befall you if you happen to have an abundance of flats above you. The disconcerting noises and scraping sounds can make it seem like your upstairs neighbour is serial killer whose hobbies include stashing bodies and occasionally bowling.
Luckily, YouTube comedy geniuses Above Average created a video to explain our confusing experiences with upstairs neighbours. Inspiring and insightful, this short documentary is a compelling tribute to neighbourly relations.
