Are you thinking about coming to Futures Fest 2014 with a passion for engineering, mechanics, welding, or construction? Are you interested in a career in the North Sea? You may not have considered the potential of a career path that utilises all of these skills and more: diving.
Somebody who recognises the potential of diving is Tommy Henaughen, General Manager of Shearwater Marine Services, and our guest speaker at Futures Fest 2014. Shearwater Marine Services are based out of Dunoon, and have supplied diving teams to locations such as Egypt, Greece, Denmark, Italy and Ireland to perform duties for the aquaculture industry. They have also undertaken prominent work in installing renewable technology underwater, as part of a wave power project.
If you’re not the kind of person looking for a desk job, perhaps what you’re looking for is something different. Consider an out of the ordinary job at The Arches on March 18th and 19th.
One for the diary: Professional Diving Academy Seminar 2.30pm on 18th March.
