If you’re interested in a career in television you won’t want to miss BAFTA in Scotland‘s latest masterclass: Let Me Entertain You.
Taking place on Thursday 18th April 2013, at Glasgow’s Centre for Contemporary Arts, the event aims to give you an inside look at how to create and produce award winning television entertainment.
First up on the panel of experts is Andrew Newman, Chief Executive of Objective Productions. Andrew started his career as a runner on The Big Breakfast, before working his way up to become Head of Comedy & Entertainment at Channel 4, and joining Objective Productions in 2009.
Co-panelist David Flynn created and executive produced hit game show The Million Pound Drop Live, after taking over Brighter Pictures in 2007, and becoming joint Managing Director of Endemol UK’s Remarkable Television in September 2009.
Finally, Karen Smith can count the launch of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy amongst her credits, as well as wearing her Executive Producer hat at Strictly Come Dancing. In 2009 Karen became Joint Managing Director of Shine, before starting her own production company, Tuesday’s Child, in 2012.
