First World Problems (Kitten style)
First World Problems is an age old selection of dilemmas posted online to remind people how lucky we are to be living where we do (recession or not). First world problems include things like not knowing where to go for lunch or having the power run out of your iPad while you’re out the house. Now though we’ve got First World Problems for First World kittens. Their dilemmas might not be any more distressing, but they are cuter.
Costa Concordia
”Get back on the boat dick!” screamed an exasperated coastguard commander Gregorio De Falco to sinking Costa Concordia captain Francesco Shettino. The exchange between the two Italians resulted in the complete collapse of Shettino’s credibility and a whole heap of memes hitting the interweb. This is probably the nicest one we could print of him.
Creepy Wonka
Rewind back to 1971 and Gene Wilder was starring as Willy Wonka in the first movie adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The actor’s deliciously creepy portrayal of the child-unfriendly chocolate baron would have had Mumsnet calling for pitchforks and lynching’s if it was put out today. The film’s cult classic status though and this wonderfully sardonic pose have made it the put-down meme of the year.
Arrow to the Knee
Massively successful RPG Skyrim was obviously made for nerds, so when it became obvious that there was even the smallest amount of humorous dialogue repetition these nerds flooded the internet with it. Don’t believe us? Then why not check out the kids on your Facebook account who never leave their basement . . . bet they’re having a great time posting knee related fun around their wall.
