Composer Chelsea Nikkel sprung to public attention last year, when the video for her single The Cigarette Duet went viral, thanks to its distinctive Lolita style and her quirky electro pop vocals.
Expect more whimsical fun from her new single, We’re So Lost, which was released on April 20th. Princess Chelsea supports Alt-J on their UK tour this summer, stopping at O2 ABC Glasgow on May 6th.

The Artist: Imagine Dragons
This four-piece indie rock band have provoked more than a few comparisons to Brandon Flowers and co, but we’d say they’re a slightly hipper, heavier alternative.
Despite being around since 2008, it’s only in the past few months that they’ve started hitting the UK hard, releasing their debut album Night Visions last month and making it on to the Radio 1 playlist with their track Radioactive.

Set to be the biggest hip-hop act of 2013, Australian Iggy moved to LA in 2010, to immerse herself in the home culture of the music she so loves.
Signed to Mercury Records in the UK, Iggy just finished supporting Rita Ora on tour, and her debut album The New Classic is set for release in June this year. She’ll be riling up plenty of festival fields this summer, including Wireless and Reading & Leeds – look out for ticket competitions in our June issue!

This super stylish NY rapper is making waves on both sides of the Atlantic, thanks to his polished production and sugarcoated synth. Case in point: his catchy track Soda – it’s literally poppin’.
Another reason we heart Le1f? His ability to pull off anything from short shorts to a Donatella Versace-esque white blonde wig. What a chameleon.

If you like Drake, you’ll love his fellow Canadian boy, Abel Tesfaye. Performing under stage name The Weeknd, his vocals are silky smooth, and his lyrics X-rated.
Having only released his debut album, Trilogy, in November 2012, he announced in March that his next album would be titled Kiss Land – so it can’t be too far off! He’s just completed a UK tour, and will be returning to an arena near you in November.
