Dr. Martens #standforsomething campaign kicked off earlier this month, with their new video showing real, DMs-wearing members of the public, explaining what it is that they stand for in life. Now Dr. Martens have announced the #standforsomething tour, which will see Sonic Boom Six, Young Guns, Spector, Lower Than Atlantis and Dry The River perform across the UK, in intimate performances that will allow fans to get up close and personal with their favourite bands.

On the Scottish trail are Dry The River, who play Glasgow’s King Tut’s on November 16th. Their bassist, Scott Miller, explains what they stand for: “Dry the River stands for encouraging people to have a good time, and enjoy some real music. We like to have a good time when we play, and we just hope that the people that come to the shows can as well.”
Tickets for Dry The River’s show, and for all other gigs, go on sale on in Dr. Martens stores on Saturday 31st August, priced at £5. They will be available online from Monday 2nd September. For more information visit the Dr. Martens #standforsomething website.
