Today I’ll be in Glasgow sourcing items for my photo shoot tomorrow. I’m styling the new Isolated Heroes collection for Salt & Vinegar Magazine in Edinburgh so hopefully today I’ll find some interesting things to compliment the collection. I can’t wait to work with Isolated Heroes again – their stuff is AMAZING! They recently joined the ASOS main site and I’ve heard things are flying out the door. Those bubble bags are insane!
My look for today is fun but comfy. This big shaggy jumper is in fact a cardigan worn back to front, leaving an open back. I love the volume of it, especially around the shoulders, even more so if you push the sleeves up. This was a crazy bargain at only £7 on sale in Primark, and when you think about it – you’re getting two for the price of one! My burgundy paisley print trousers are from Primark as well and they’re super comfy – with just the right balance of smart and stretch. I’m wearing my new boots again today so I can show them off and I know they’ll be comfy enough to carry me around shop after shop (after shop). Today’s accessory is my bold tomato red H&M necklace from a couple of years ago. I like to have a pop of colour most days. It can totally brighten your whole look, and in this case I’ve chosen to dress up a casual top with a statement colour-pop necklace. As a finishing touch I added a dark red lip – one of my new favourites – MAC ‘Prince Noir’. I love a bold striking lip!
