After a super busy week and a few late nights Thursday is here! Today I’m getting Swooned! Swooned, I hear you ask? Apparently Swoon is THE place to get nailed in Glasgow… well that’s the word on the street!
So for this momentus occasion… finally getting rid of my chipped red nail varnish (that I hope none of you noticed until now) I’ve chosen to wear a wee red vintage top I got from a vintage shop on Brick Lane and a new skirt from Tesco which I bought in the sale last week. I actually managed to get a few bargains that day and this wee number was only £5.
You totally can’t beat a bit of supermarket clothes shopping. They usually always have something interesting if you are willing to raid the shelves. As qualified bargain hunter, raiding shelves is something I’m particularly skilled at… just ask John what our bedroom floor looks like after an outfit change.
In order to face the December weather I picked out my all time favourite coat. This vintage A-line coat is super warm and has the most amazing faux fur collar that you can almost burrow your face right into when it gets too cold outside to bear. I’m wearing my Forever 21 leggings with my Aldo boots which are like big cosy slippers. Accessory-wise I went for a few old faithfuls, my From The Heart of It Ring, Belt Up Brenda Belt, Nocturnal Nancy Necklace – all Hey Sailor – and a black vintage bag. I’m also sporting my new glasses from Retro Peepers; this site is amazing for funky, down-to-earth priced frames.
Right, it’s time to get SWOONED, so same time same place tomorrow lovelies x
