Hump day has arrived and that can only mean one thing… I’ve dressed inappropriately for today’s icy winter chill. Ouch. Wishing from the minute I left my flat that I had opted for a coat rather than my ASOS leather jacket, I decided not to turn back, in the interest of style (and punctuality) over comfort. This happens a lot.
I’ve realised I either look terrified or really grumpy in all of my selfies, so I apologise for that – I don’t generally ‘do’ selfies. However, hopefully my wardrobe insight makes up for the facial expressions, and you can focus on the fashion instead! This red dipped hem dress was a recent ASOS purchase and works equally well with tights for work as it does with bare legs for a night out (or a summery day at work, if summer ever comes back, sigh).
Today I have 3 press days to attend, where brands and labels show off their collections for next season, so it’s important to be in walkable shoes as I’ll be running around the city all afternoon! Then I’ll be relaxing with dinner and drinks with Jenn, one of the brilliant Chuff Media PR team, who provide Scotcampus with access to so many stars for our music interviews. We like them a lot! Oh, and today’s beauty look involves a nude lip, because my dress is so bright I’m wary of teaming it with another bold shade. My lipstick is from Nicola Roberts Dainty Doll collection and a spritz (or 10) of my signature Tom Ford perfume completes today’s outfit.
