Since my clothing choices yesterday were so bright, I thought I would embrace the darker side in my own girly way today. The overly dramatic yet fun sunglasses are Henry Holland, I’ve used them recently for styling in a few fashion editorials and everyone has had at least a ‘selfie’ with them on. When shopping either for myself or picking things out for photo shoots, I like things that aren’t really the norm to add a bit of interest and fun to what I consider a relatively low key look.
The cute shirt is new season Topshop, they have an array of laid back 1950s pieces; think pink ladies meets your gran! Perfect for pairing with high waisted jeans or a pencil skirt. The ‘I love you’ necklace and ring is a Tarina Tarantino piece I received for my 21st birthday. Tarina is an American designer who creates unusual pieces, the juxtaposition of super sweet and dark influences. I also own the ‘I Hate You’ set perfect for your inner Wednesday Addams.
The bag is Vivienne Westwood and at three years old, it still looks brand new. While I wouldn’t consider myself a big name brand junkie I tend to be drawn towards designers who create energetic and fun pieces, especially brands such as Meadham Kirchoff, Coco Fennell, Karen Mabon and The Rodnik Band.
